Dutch boutique Tenue de Nîmes recently teamed up with umbrella connoisseurs London Undercover to produce this umbrella. Giving the traditional accessory a contemporary twist, the piece is actually made from denim. Made in France, the frame has been created from natural beech woodwork which said to be of industrial strength. The interior artwork was designed by Japanese illustrator Hiyoko Imai and consists of an illustration of a cotton flower; a nod to the floral designs often found on original parasols from which the umbrella derived. The denim umbrella is now available at bothTenue de NîmesandLondon Undercover.
